Set of 6 'Peter' Dining Chairs by Niels Koefoed for Koefoeds Hornslet

A sculptural mid-century modern set of six solid teak Peter dining chairs designed by Niels Koefoed, defined by their elegant proportions and distinctive open-back silhouette. Each chair features a broad, softly curved backrest with a dramatic central cut-out, creating a light architectural profile while showcasing the warmth and grain of the teak.

The tapered legs and gently shaped frames give the chairs a refined Danish modern presence, while the black upholstered seats provide a clean contrast against the wood. Balanced, comfortable and visually striking from every angle, the Peter chair remains one of Koefoed’s most recognizable seating designs.
